Valerie is a seasoned award-winning artist, having shown work in many media at all types of art shows over many years. She has a B.F.A., B.Ed. M.F.A. and has completed training for trainers program.

A popular workshop facilitator, Valerie has taught workshops and art courses widely, including workshops in Europe, on river cruises and around Ontario at various colleges. She is a member of several arts organizations.

Her work can be seen at numerous commercial galleries, as well as in local shows. Her artwork is newly impressionistic. Her subject matter continues to reflect her interest in our natural world, as well as in experimentation with figurative and abstract selections. She continues to write for art publications about how-to techniques of painting.
