Helen Litras is a Canadian resident originally from Greece. Thoughout her life, she has had many interests and aspirations for the arts.

Helen is an amateur artist and began painting five years ago as a hobby during her early retirement. She does not have a formal art education. She has had very limited instruction and training with her technique over the last couple of years. She enjoys painting with oils on canvas and her preferred subjects include florals, landscapes and still-life. She is continuously exploring, developing and learning about colour, subject and composition in all mediums.

Helen finds painting in oils to be very rewarding. Her life experiences and devoted family are her inspirations.
