Christine Lippa started sketching and drawing at an early age she has painted in both watercolour and acrylic and has great passion for drawing the human figure. Christine has been painting for the last 20 years. She studied at the Ontario Art College in Toronto, Independent Studies and Fine Art programmes and has taken a variety of respected and skilled art workshops. She is a member of the Richmond Hill Group of Artists and has been on the Executive Board of Directors Vice President for the organization. The prime inspirations for her art come from the outdoors; the camera always accompanies her to capture that perfect landscape. Christine, through her art, tries to convey a feeling and the essence of the subject that excites her. Christine works primarily from photos and by putting together various pieces to come up with a painting that she has created in her mind. This makes the art work more challenging and exciting. She has and continues to participate in juried art shows. Her work can be found in Europe and at the Richmond Hill Town Hall and Richvale Library. One of Christine’s paintings was printed and given out as a gift to 200 volunteers for the Town of Richmond Hill.
