Winter Program
Starts Wednesday February 15, 2012 - 8 weeks

Multi Media
Instructor: Henna Kim, 647-828-0220
  • 4pm -- 5:30 pm, 1.5 hrs per week
  • 8 weeks program (Feb. 15th ~ Apr. 4th)
  • Snacks are provided for the students
  • $140  payable to RHGA
  • $40 material fee payable to Henna Kim
  • $25 brush fee payable to Henna Kim (student keeps brushes)
  • Ages 6 thru 16 years old

Children will learn how to draw and color one new image each week with a variety of mediums and techniques. They will also gain expanded imagination and creativity as well as fundamental art skills, which helps build their self-confidence. If your children have expressed an interest in the visual arts, allow them to explore their creativity in a professionally designed and instructed art class.

Henna Kim (hennakim@hotmail.com) has been an art instructor for 16 years and is a full-time professional artist. Exhibiting her artwork in Korea, Canada and USA. Graduated with  B.F.A. from Korea University in 1999 & M.R.E. from University of Toronto in 2008. Studied Fine Arts at several universities including OCAD in Canada.     Afternoon class from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm, 2 hrs per week

  • Ages 8 thru 16 years (firm)

Olga Senyk has been an art teacher for 25 years. She enjoys teaching the fundamentals of art in a variety of media, always striving to improve the students observation, imagination and motor skills, in a fun, nurturing environment.

  • Ages 5 thru 12 years (firm)

Students are taught in a positive and fun classroom atmosphere. Each student is encouraged to express their unique creativity and imagination throughout the learning process. Curriculum includes exploring new techniques using a variety of media and a brief introduction to the evolution of art history associated with these techniques. Children make connections between what they see and incorporate this into their own work.

Yuni Ko: Previous work experiences include teaching Visual Art in both private & group settings. B.A. in Visual Art and studied Fine Art in Canada, Korea and France.
